Hey there!
I am a doctoral student (PhD) of Behavioural Accounting at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. I am a Chartered Accountant (CA) by qualification. I also hold an undergraduate degree in commerce (B.com) from India.

My research interests lie at the intersection of accounting and psychology. Typically, the focus is on understanding, theorizing, and possibly shaping human behavior in different accounting settings, through quantitative experimental research.

I aspire to build a career in academia, centered around teaching and research. After completing my doctoral studies, I hope to join the accounting faculty of a business school in a university of global repute.

Outside my academic career, I am a trained South Indian classical percussionist. I play an instrument called the “Mrudangam”. I have been connected with this artform right from a very young age. I began my formal lessons when I was 9, had my debut concert when I was 14, and have been performing in music concerts since then.

In my spare time, I enjoy engaging in a variety of activities. I like reading books, watching web-series/movies, listening to music, practicing my percussion instrument, learning scriptures, and modestly attempting to engage in philosophical contemplation. Outside these activities, I also deeply enjoy meeting new people and building new connections across different cultures. Like many others out there, I have been able to obtain a lot of perspectives in life mainly through the different people I have met at different points in time!
